PRISMA Complex Interventions (PRISMA-CI)

The PRISMA extension for systematic reviews of complex interventions was published in 2017. It provides provide guidance to promote consistency and improve the reporting and usability of systematic reviews on complex interventions (i.e. interventions which have multiple components (intervention complexity) and complicated/multiple causal pathways, feedback loops, synergies, and/or mediators and moderators of effect (pathway complexity)).
